The "First Gen" style facemasks are the first styles made by Schutt when they began producing reverse hookup clipped facemasks. They were first used in the 80's into the 90's. They can be distinguished by where the side clips mount to the helmet. They are slightly different from the standard Super Pro Facemasks.
